What Are They?
OK, so we didn’t actually lose any interviews. But due to various space and production issues, many interviews had to get cut from the book. (In an embarrassment of riches, our first manuscript would have yielded a 1000-page book.)
The authors are grateful for the time and effort given by these amazing talents, and want to share the interviews. But we’re not above a good serial marketing tactic, so we’ll be releasing these periodically via Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and RSS.
In the coming weeks and months, watch for interviews by Paul Provenza with John Oliver, Troy Conrad, Maria Bamford, Paul F. Tompkins, The Staff of The Onion, Mo Rocca, Andy Zaltzman, Glenn Wool, Tim Minchin, Drew Carey, Kevin Nealon, Tom Drieson, Tim Reid, Sherrod Small, Taylor Negron, Jim Jefferies, Ian Shoales, Damon Wayans, and more.

Will the interviews also be accompanied by Dan’s photos?
I wonder why in the world Drew would get cut, of all people.
He didn’t get photographed. All the people in the book had their portraits done. It’s a good interview, though.
Did you do an interview with Mort Sahl? He has a portrait, anyway. Any chance that he’ll make the outtakes?
Mort is a bit prickly. He wouldn’t do an interview for us, and pretty much refuses for anyone, unless the book is specifically about him. I’ll be posting to the blog tomorrow an account of our events in the SF Bay Area, including a run-in with Mort in Mill Valley.
i saw a photograph of Dave Chappelle… do not dare tellin me he got cut to?/ did he?
(haa wats the point, i might as well talk to maself here. nobody answers these things! anybody out there?)
We are out here! Chappelle is nearly impossible to get for an interview nowadays. I was lucky enough to shoot him a few times before things got mad crazy with him. Glad you’re digging the book!

Just thought I would comment and say cool theme, did you code it for yourself? It looks excellent!
